Wellness Rituals: A Mask for Glowing Skin

I’ve always seen face masks as the ultimate luxury when it comes to my skin care regimen. I love the way a good mask makes my skin look and feel, and it’s my favorite way to prep my skin when I have an event coming up. When I discovered that True Botanicals made a product called the Resurfacing Moisture Mask, I was instantly intrigued. A mask that promises to illuminate and exfoliate dull, winter skin, while keeping skin moisturized is a keeper for the Bay Area weather.

From first use, I felt the creamy texture of the Resurfacing Moisture Mask was moisturizing when applied and after rinsing off, left my skin what can only be described as super glassy. The combination of lactic acid, which plumps and exfoliates skin, ultra moisturizing avocado butter, and super-antioxidant astaxanthin from algae made my skin feel absolutely renewed. The clean formula is certified non-toxic and made from natural ingredients which is important to me. You might have seen their celebrity spokesperson Olivia Wilde rave about this line before, and they're also based in San Francisco.

I recommend using the Resurfacing Moisture Mask as a weekly exfoliation which can be good for even sensitive skin as lactic acid is one of the gentlest chemical exfoliators, and as a bonus also helps to plump the skin. Those with oily or acne-prone skin, may find more benefit using this twice a week. Also take a look at the rest of the line, they're all certified non-toxic, and cleanly formulated, and most importantly True Botanicals is running a holiday promotion of including a free deluxe sample jar of the Resurfacing Moisturizing Mask with any purchase over $40.

The Resurfacing Moisture Mask will most definitely be part of my New Years Eve skin prep for glowy, photo ready skin. To compliment my weekly mask, I especially like their Calm Collection which really helps buffer against the unpredictable Bay Area weather and soothe sensitive skin, but you really can’t go wrong with this line so take a look.
